Damnation

Book 3 of Forgotten Vengeance

Science Fiction, Thriller

Book Score8out of 10
Plot & Storyline 8.5/10
Characters 8/10
Dialogue / Writing Style 8/10

Damnation is the final book in the Forgotten Vengeance trilogy, with humanity fighting for survival on two fronts. Earth is under direct attack while Proxima is being undermined from within, leaving the remaining heroes trying to hold everything together long enough to give humanity one last chance.

The book feels much bigger and more desperate than the earlier entries, with more focus on war, sacrifice, and the cost of trying to survive when almost every advantage is gone. The action is constant, but the strongest part is the sense that everything has finally reached the point where there are no easy choices left.

The Goods

  • Big sense of scale
  • Strong final-book tension
  • Good military sci-fi action
  • The two-front conflict works well
  • Feels like a real conclusion

The Bads

  • Depends heavily on the first two books
  • Some characters get less time than others
  • The action can become relentless
  • A few developments happen very quickly
  • Not much room to slow down

My Recommendation

This is a strong finish for readers who have already followed the Forgotten Vengeance trilogy and want the conflict to reach its biggest possible scale. Damnation is packed with military action, alien threats, and desperate decisions, but it also keeps enough focus on sacrifice and survival to make the ending feel meaningful. If you enjoy fast military science fiction, large battles, and finales where everything is on the line, this is a satisfying way to close the series.
