This Is for Jazz
This Is for Jazz follows Connor and Jazz, a high school couple whose lives are torn apart after Jazz becomes the victim of a horrific crime. When the people responsible seem protected and the local police fail to deliver justice, Connor and Jazz decide to take matters into their own hands and go after everyone involved.
The book is dark, violent, and very focused on revenge, but there is also a strong emotional side underneath all of it. A lot of the story comes down to how far someone is willing to go for the person they love, especially when anger and grief start replacing any sense of restraint. It gets brutal quickly, but the relationship between Connor and Jazz gives the violence more purpose than simple shock value.

My Recommendation
This is a good fit for readers who like extreme revenge thrillers, violent horror, and stories about people crossing every line after the justice system fails them. Connor and Jazz are what keep the book grounded, because their relationship gives the revenge a very personal reason instead of making it feel random. If you enjoy dark, fast-moving stories with betrayal, grief, and a lot of graphic violence, This Is for Jazz is the kind of book that does not hold much back.
