Unlimited Power
Unlimited Power is Anthony Robbins’ early guide to changing the way you think, communicate, and respond to problems. A lot of the book focuses on mindset, confidence, goal-setting, communication, and the idea that people can change their results by changing their patterns and the way they interpret what happens around them.
There are plenty of useful ideas in here, especially around motivation and taking responsibility for your own behaviour, but the book can also feel very intense and repetitive. Some of the methods and examples show their age now, but the overall message about becoming more deliberate with your thoughts, habits, and decisions is still easy to understand.
The Goods
- Very motivating
- Strong focus on personal responsibility
- Useful communication ideas
- Easy to find practical takeaways
- Good introduction to Robbins’ approach
The Bads
- Can be repetitive
- Some examples feel dated
- The tone is very intense
- Certain ideas are oversimplified
- A few sections feel longer than necessary
My Recommendation
This is a good fit for readers who like motivational self-help and want a book that pushes hard on confidence, habits, communication, and personal responsibility. Robbins can be a lot, and some of the material feels dated now, but there are still useful ideas about changing patterns and becoming more deliberate with the way you think and act. If you like energetic self-development books and do not mind a very forceful style, Unlimited Power still has plenty of value.
